When people skip Nine I just laugh because that means you’re skipping Captain Jack Harkness and trust me that is a feat so terrible you will hate yourself when you discover the gravity of the situation

I Hate Superman, So I'm Of Course Biased Here

  • Lois: What's with that S on your chest?
  • Superman: It's a symbol of hope on my planet.
  • Me: LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMME
  • Friend: But isn't that in the canon? That His S is really a symbol of hope?
  • Me: I don't give a fuck. It's not a funny coincidence. It's a stupid one. It's like-what if the symbol for hope on his planet was a big floppy purple dildo?

We’re at the halfway point on the calendar, but over 80% of the pledges needed to fund the campaign. Thank you all for pledging and spreading the word.
Pledges have slowed down considerably since Friday. I hope it was because we had really nice weather. Attendance slowed down also.
With only $14,000  and 21 days to go we can’t afford to slow down, we are too close to lose it all in the final moments. On the other hand, it is time to start thinking about “stretch goals” - targets past the the original goal.
I’ll be checking with several providers of digital Operas and Plays and Concerts to see what we will need to begin hosting those on a regular basis at the Capri.
After that? Well, we’ve raised enough to pay off the building loan, but we will still need lots of money in the building fund to maintain the building until we can raise the funds to redo the building as we hope to. Let’s call it the Deferred Maintenance Fund.
Any other suggestions? I’ll be posting the stretch goals and some new reward levels in the next few days. Please keep posting to Facebook and Twitter and anywhere else you can. The response has been fantastic.
